ZKTeco UK, subsidiary of the global security equipment manufacturing giant, has today confirmed the launch of its very first warehouse facility in Great Britain.

The new set up will bring greater accessibility of best-selling Access Control, Entrance Control, Security and Time and Attendance products to its growing UK customer base.

Since the formal opening of the Corporate Office and Experience Centre in the Midlands just eighteen months ago, ZKTeco UK has been steadily expanding its staff, onboarding distributors and gaining market attention for its comprehensive and exciting range of high-spec security products.

The opening of this local stock facility is expected to further accelerate the growth and popularity of ZKTeco products in the UK security market where demand is already rising, especially for the company’s easy-to-install speed lanes, turnstiles and parking barriers at competitive prices.

Sales Representative Job Role 

The Sales Representative will perform all commercial activities required to win new business and maintain/grow existing customer business with the support and supervision of the Commercial Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Contacting existing and new customers to understand needs and position ZKTeco products as solutions.
  • Communicating with customers before and after a sale, seeking feedback and gaining testimonials.
  • Delivering presentations and signposting resources and information.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure products are ordered correctly and delivered on time.
  • Handling enquiries, delivering a superior customer service, resolving any customer concerns.
  • Handling customer returns, price changes and discounts under the supervision of colleagues.
  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s products and services to advise and make suitable recommendations to customers.
  • Attending conferences and events to understand industry trends.
  • Keeping the company CRM up-to-date and adhering to company processes and policies to ensure an efficient working environment.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Responsible for contributing to the achievement of sales targets.
    • Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction to secure repeat business.
    • Responsible for representing the company and the brand with professionalism.

    Desirable Skills:

    • IT Proficiency, including email and MS Office programmes is essential.

    Whilst this role at ZKTeco UK is completely new and expected to evolve over time, overall responsibilities are as follows:

    Marketing & Administration Assistant Job Role

    As a growing start-up business, a portion of the role will be performing administrative and sales support duties, alongside all aspects of tactical, hands-on marketing activities.

    Office-based in Birmingham, with an opportunity for 1-2 days remote working after a successful probationary period for the right candidate. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the company’s social media accounts.
    • Co-create social media campaigns.
    • Manage the content calendar.
    • Create simple graphics and campaign messages.
    • Produce and distribute email marketing.
    • Update/create local marketing and sales support materials.
    • Maintain and develop the company’s website and tracking analytics.
    • Support all online and offline marketing activity across the full marketing mix.
    • Collaborate with the commercial team to finetune campaigns and outbound marketing activities.
    • Monitor and report on campaign performance.
    • Contribute to the maintenance and development of the company CRM system.
    • Write and proofread creative copy.
    • Assist with the organisation of exhibitions and networking events.
    • Be a brand ambassador for the company.
    • Handle document management, including keeping electronic records and managing version control.
    • Carry out clerical work including, but not limited to: answering the telephone, responding to customer enquiries, inputting customer orders and checking product shipments.

    Desirable Skills:

    • Experience with WordPress / maintenance of websites.
