ZKTeco UK Limited, Midlands-based subsidiary of the leading global security solutions manufacturer, is pleased to officially announce a new partnership with training provider, Learn CCTV.

Learn CCTV, as the company name suggests, provides accredited training courses for CCTV installers and over recent years has expanded its offering to include installer training for intruder and fire alarms, door entry and access control systems.

Offering delegates an alternative to Paxton’s Net2 access control solution, Learn CCTV is now adding a 1-day training course for ZKTeco’s revolutionary plug-and-play Atlas access control series to their training calendar. The first course is scheduled to take place on 2nd June at their training centre in the North-West of England, with additional dates available over August and September.

Delegates can expect to get hands-on with both the Atlas Prox and Atlas Bio models, discover the built-in web application for advanced access control features and cover cards, compatible readers and biometrics within the course content. With emphasis on practical learning, Learn CCTV keep PowerPoint to a minimum. Each attendee is equipped with their own Atlas unit to wire up and programme, integrating real-world scenarios such as wiring into locks, Push to Exit buttons, Emergency Break Glass and external outputs from the systems.

“From initially seeing the ease and simplicity of programming the Atlas Series and knowing our audience’s needs well, it was immediately clear that we needed to include this within our training course portfolio.

In our view, ZKTeco have moved with the times by incorporating modern-looking and feature-packed products with ease of programming, thus reducing engineering and labour time on site.

Their products are designed with both end user and installer in mind, and we look forward to developing training courses for more solutions from their extensive range in the future.”

The Atlas Series training course is an entry-level programme designed for both newcomers to industry and existing security professionals looking to expand their offering. To ensure a positive and personal learning experience, Learn CCTV strictly limits class size to a maximum of four delegates. Participants will experience for themselves how easy ZKTeco’s access control system is to implement for a wide range of customer applications, leaving the classroom with knowledge and confidence.
